Welcome back to the O-T, Pecker. Maybe you can find a way to not get banned again. But as I've said several times, I won't be needing this service. I was just pointing it out, as a thread topic.
And I think it's odd to complain about what other people should be charging for the services they are providing. There are so many factors involved here that could have determined the price, so it's nonsensical to jump to the conclusion that they're attempting to take advantage of people.

They will... or they will still be charged if they don't.
Me thinks you don’t quite grasp the “subscription” model of business.
Hint hint. The vast majority of income from subscription based businesses comes from people who stay subscribed but don’t attend regularly.

Just give your kid an Xbox

No one is gonna take care of your bad arse kid for $20/day.
I would do it so i would expect someone else to do so

But you bitch about paying 3.60 an hour to babysit your little shite
Again, for those of you with poor reading comprehension, I am not using this service, because I don't need it.
If I needed it... $40 an hour is worth it compared to not being paid by staying home.

A dancing school isn't the same as netflix or a gym.
What a weird comparison.
It's not a "subscription model". It's you owe X a year, if you quit you get no refund, you can pay all up front or pay over X number of months.

THERE IS NO PROBLEM
It was simply an observation of capitalism, at work, in the real world.
I thought this thread would get 4-5 comments and most of them would be telling me "stop posting about boring stuff".
No idea it would be 4 pages.

My bad. I forgot. You’re not bitching for yourself. You’re bitching on behalf of those random poors who attend a $300 a month dance studio but can’t afford to pay $3.60 an hr to have their little frick trophy babysat at said dance studio

Your true colors show through right here. I am so damn sick of all the people who think it is my responsibility to send all my employees home, pay them full salaries and not operate my business. Typical Bernie style logic that just because I own a business I somehow have an endless supply of funds that others deserve.

Ya the owners really are taking those poor customers who pay a firm, 4 figure annual fee for dancing classes for a ride. I hope they can make it.

No. It most definitely is. You have a yearly subscription to this place and you pay regardless if you attend or not.

$40/day for basically a baby sitting service is insanely cheap

I don't think you should do that.
If your employees have the ability to work from home, AND IT DOESN'T IMPACT YOUR WORK PRODUCT, I think you should let them.
Reality is, if your employees aren't working for you, then you aren't able to sell whatever it is you sell.
I'm real worried about how this impacts small businesses.

So you would consider private school tuition a "subscription model"?
How many people drop out of private schools? Or otherwise are paying for them but not using them?

I don’t know if I’ve ever seen childcare as low as $3.60 an hour. And yet here you are, complaining that’s there’s a cheap option for your kids if needed.
Americans. We love to bitch

Sounds like an unlicensed daycare that needs to be reported.
