My deposit still hasn't hit. Considering moving all my money elsewhere Tuesday when banks reopen.

Its messing with all the other banks as well.

Many folks have electronically deposited checks at CO since Tuesday/Wednesday that have not cleared the CO side.

Since these people cannot see the check posted many have assumed it didnt go through and if they have a secondary institution, they have deposited the check there. The problem is the bank the check is drawn on might be hit twice as this is an unforseen issue.

You were trying to say that and in the process you were virtue signaling of sorts and doing the backhand scold. Trying in a way to make yourself look superior. Plus you know nothing about these folks.

They are getting phucked currently by either Capitol One or FIS and no one can give them an answer as to why. Whether they meet your standards or the arbitrary 6 month thing is immaterial or whether they can withstand missing a paycheck is immaterial and the level of their stewardship superfluous in this instance.

Here's the notice I see: "Restoration is underway to fix vendor issues impacting deposits, payments, transfers and account visibility."

Might be a fun month to reconcile deposits and expenditures at CO, especially since daily postings matter to interest.

If things aren’t updating people have to be having their cards declined at stores etc. for lack of funds which is never good for business.

Just got pff the phone with a rep from Capital One. She sounded like she was talking to a ghost. I did not yell or threaten. She could not provide me with any information on my account other than to check back Tuesday when they reopen.

They still have these. Was it US based or was it someone making coffee in one of their Crapital One Cafes.

My primary local bank UCB took out the drive thru window and replaced it with an ITM which is a hybrid of an ATM and a remote teller. I can make deposits anytime and use the remote teller without my ATM card during operating hours from the same machine.

But at least my physical paycheck processed yesterday.

Capital One is going to have headaches come Tuesday. They have earned it and if people lose their jobs it would be a good thing. The CEO should have come out to say something to assure depositors. All of these "updates" are barely CYA now. They are meaningless until you and everyone else is able to access what is theirs.

No worries, mate.

I understand you are a product of a socialist upbringing.

I suggest you start a Go-Fund-Me for all the people who were dinged for missed payments. Gen-Z will be very supportive, I'm sure.

You're a true a-hole.

Are you serious by suggesting it's my fault that my paycheck still hasn't deposited because a conglomerate banking institution experienced a loss of power?

It's almost midnight and I still don't have my funds that my employer successfully transferred to Capital One. Capital One hasn't deposited the funds to my account, even though they have possession of the funds.

But they denied two of the four automatic payments of utilities I set up for the day after I am supposed to be paid.

Even sent me two emails saying they denied payment because of lack of funds in the account used for those utility bills. So that part of their service is still functional.

Best part: I couldn't even transfer any money from other accounts to that account.

Go frick yourself.
