Capital One Auto Navigator for buying a car, any experiences?

I've used USAA's car buying tool way back in the day. I'm not even sure why these services exist anymore since almost everything is at MSRP anyway.

Yes, twice actually.
Positives- takes like 2 seconds (if you're a Cap one customer) to get pre-approved. And once you have the pre-approval number if the dealership is a Cap One partner it cuts the ordeal down to almost nothing. I bought my daughter's car and was out the door in under an hour.
Negatives- not every dealer is a partner so it'll only show you cars from preferred dealers. You can still use the the authorization at any dealer, but the second time I used it Chase came back with a better rate than Cap so I went with that instead.

I have used truecar or whatever it's called to get the national and regional avg sales price. Started offers at that point and did the deal over email.

I used it for my last truck. It worked quite well. I was able to input the make and model of the truck I wanted, and it gave me a number of options.
