The only true way is to "John Wayne" it. Be a gentleman who exudes steely confidence in yourself and blow off petty shite. Should something you absolutely can't blow off arise, check his arse like the Duke would. No smack, no cheesy retorts.......as man put it out there.
Let him show his arse because it doesn't reflect on you. If your new gal is somehow swayed after this, then it wasn't meant to be and move on. NOTE: make sure you let your lady know she's a lady and take care of YOUR business above all.
