Sure, but what scenario in this crisis would end up with your EV being the ONLY source where you could get AM radio?

You have cell phones, old school radios...if it's a true crisis, I'm never thinking my car is the only place for me to get those updates.

Lots of people sit in their cars when power is out for days to charge devices and listen to the radio.

I’d like to see the overlapping circles diagram (forgot what it is called) of people who drive EVs and listen to AM radio.

I only really use AM radio for football games now a days.

One of our local AMs carries Sports Talk and LSU Sports. But they have an FM station that runs the same programs.

And the station has an app. I was in Arkansas last weekend and used the app to listen to LSU baseball in car and hotel.

Seems like 2 opposite demographics. So AM radio people (assuming they still exist) want to buy hi technology EVs?

It’s been a while since I listened to am, but from what I remember - the audio quality sucked, got worse around sources of electronic interference, and was 80% ads.

Seems like sources of electronic interference has only increased over the past 30 years. How can AM stations still be a thing?
