So we have 5 more states voting on medicinal or recreational pot this election.

Mississippi, New Jersey, Montana, Arizona and South Dakota.

We also have Oregon and DC with psilocybin referendums.

Anyone living in one of those states care to comment how it looks re: these puff puff passing?

Hopefully they all will do well. GL

This will all be legal given the next 10 years or so.

The question is how far behind does Louisiana want to be, and how much tax revenue to be lost?

I would be shocked (and overjoyed!) if it passes.

Man, it pisses me off that Louisiana is going to be one of the last for recreational marijuana. The state could make so much money off the taxes. We'll be last of the surrounding states and miss out on the initial run. Of course, someone isn't getting their pocket lined enough yet.

Just so we're clear, only medical is on the ballot here in MS.

The bill in Mississippi is for medicinal marijuana but that is just one of the first steps towards recreational. Louisiana appears to have medicinal marijuana already but it is far more prohibitive than what is being proposed in Mississippi.

Just tried to read about it and the way it's presented on the ballot seems confusing as hell. Maybe it's just me.

Hope they all get denied. Nothing trashier than smelling weed or cig smoke.

Where do you live that you are so frequently smelling weed

I don't like the smell either but they have marijuana vape pens now that have zero smell.

Have you ever walked down bourbon street? Or anywhere in new Orleans? Whole city smells like pot and cigs

I have. How can you smell it over the sewer and curb water cocktail?
