Some buddies and myself are trying to book a trip to Cancun late this summer. (I realize this is very college spring break of us). We are all in our mid-twenties.
Looking to book at an all-inclusive resort. Anybody have any experience there? What resorts are okay; which ones are not okay? Any overall advice about the area?
I appreciate the input.

I have heard all of the Palace resorts are good and you can stay at one, but go to all of the others for no additional cost and there are shuttles. Heard that the Moon Palace is the best.

I think the Oasis Sens is the type of "friendly" hotel you and your male buddies will appreciate.

What do people see in Cancun vs. some of the islands with all inclusive resorts out there like St. Lucia?
Is it a cost thing?
I'm not knocking the OP, I am just legitimately curious what people post-college see in Cancun.

You know, none of us really know much about any of the all inclusive resorts so we just went with something we've heard of before.
Seems to be more populated there as well.
I'll look into St Lucia. Any others you'd recommend?

if you're not looking for crazy party scene, we went to El Dorado Royale last summer. i'll never go anywhere else on the Yucatan.

Sun Palace has nice rooms but the resort it self is nothing more than a tall hotel right on the beach. The actual beach area is about as big as my garage.
Its a hotel on the beach with a nice room. Not a resort
