I feel like "bio break" started to come around when it was a long, virtual meeting. Just say "I have to use the restroom"

We understand this as needing water, a bite to eat or a restroom break.

It kinda works. No one wants to picture you taking a leak or a dump while your thumbnail is on the screen.

Why.. wouldn't you just say "Be right back"? Or.. if you're not speaking anytime soon, turning your screen off and walking off for 5 minutes?

The three things that I mentioned all take roughly the same amount of time, so you have an idea on when they’d be back. Saying “be right back” or simply walking away doesn’t tell anyone anything.

Personally, I just say “I’ll be back in 2 minutes”. I just don’t have a problem with “bio break” like some people seem to for whatever reason.
