I have the family package and it’s 100% worth it with my wife dropping her phone like she does, not to mention the washing of the AirPods about once every few months. Has more than paid for itself.

Man you did good getting 9 years out of the Mac. I use them as well and it seems like I end up running into some kind of software compatibility problem after about six or seven years when Apple stopped supporting the old hardware.

Anything "Apple" has a price tag. Known this since the 80's being in computer sales.
Never paid for iTunes, God what a rip-off.
Never paid for their phones or apps.
Never paid for their proprietary development tools.
Learned what open source was using Unix in the LSU computer labs in the 80's. Never looked back.
Frick Apple.

I've used it several times. Went great.

Yes, she’s a wonderful person in so many ways. She has made me better as well. All of the good she’s done for me and our family more than makes up for something as trivial as phones and headphones being damaged. Plus it’s not like AppleCare is that expensive. If it is, then maybe don’t purchase it and then leave it at that.

So did Compaq, IBM, Tandy, etc.
iTunes is free, Apple Music isn't. You've either had a paid Spotify plan since it rolled out, or you sync all of your music ripped to FLAC to your Librem 5 phone (you know, which you had to pay for.) I'm sure it's not an Android, you know, since that's not open source, just like Chrome isn't.
I bet you get really heated in PS5/Xbox debates. Chill.

Yea but it seems like the amount you’re paying in AppleCare over time has to be as much or more than it would cost you to just pay full price for the new phone. Thats the ridiculous thing about it.
Then don’t pay for it. Congrats! You’re an adult now and learned to make decisions for yourself!
