People are eating all meals at home, using bathroom exclusively at home.

This causes higher than normal demand on grocery stores. Meanwhile, supply chains are being disrupted. Several countries have banned the export of food due to virus.

Dairy farmers are dumping milk because they can't get it to market. Home toilet paper manufacturers are unable to keep up with the 40% increase in demand. TP is a high volume, low profit margin product. It was already being produced around the clock to maximize profit. With no one using bathroom at work/gym/restaurant/etc, home demand has outstripped production.

If you have a business, you could order commercial TP. Order from a place like Uline or WB Mason. Plenty of TP to be had.

True but that has nothing to do with the Rush on Groceries nor the topic...and we spell it Càÿ'Déén

Those of you who have 4 or 5 people (including yourself) in your household, how much of the following do you use on a weekly basis?

Milk
Bread

Family of 5 here, about 3 gallons of milk a week and at least one loaf of bread.

I know families with teenage boys and they go through a gallon of milk a day. A loaf of bread lasts maybe 2 days there.

Some people use vinegar as a disinfectant. I'm not sure how effective it truly is in killing viruses and bacteria.

This Wu Flu is a lipid (fat) shell around a bit of RNA (protein).

Vinegar can melt the fat and denature the protein so if used appropriately it can work. (pickling involves denaturing proteins, crack/drop an egg into vinegar for proof)

Oh, you got me there. I, also, typoed "its" without an apostrophe because it's a forum and not a term paper, noticed it, and didn't care. I am sure I am the only person who has demonstrated inappropriate grammar on this forum ever.

From a post of yours just recently,

, I guess you don't know how to capitalize the I in "I'm?"

I just got back from shopping and it wasn't bad. I went to 3 different stores and Winn Dickme had the fewest shoppers. But it pisses me off that eggs are still expensive. There is a shortage of eggs because PEOPLE ARE BUYING THEM! There is no shortage of chickens. There hasn't been something that is killing off the chickens..To me it is just price gouging.

Rouse's meat prices are at the most they can charge.. Stuff that was $6.00 is now $11. What a time to get greedy. I hope a Walmart grocery store opens next to the Rouse's on Veterans..

Stores needs to start limiting how much of each item people can buy. Last time I was at the store (Winn Dixie), a lady's cart was loaded up with milk. You shouldn't be allowed to do that.
