Separating laundry was invented by Tide to sell more soap. I used to throw all that shite in there in a heap, use hot water, never have a problem. It doesn't matter one bit.

I've always mixed colors and whites and wash in warm water and rinse in cold. Never had a problem.
I believe the only time a garment may bleed color is on the initial wash. I may be mistaken.

You can, but if you want the whites to come really clean, it would be prudent to use bleach, and that is a big no-no with colored clothes.
Soap pods are a hell of a lot cheaper than new clothes.

Absolutely. If you have any concerns about the water being too warm, pour some cold bleach in to cool it down first.
