Are you sure the NYC plate is an ashtray? There doesn’t appear to be “notches” for your cigarette to rest in.

Maybe a dish to go under a coffee cup? But those usually have a depressed ring for the cup to sit inside.

Dessert plate? How big is it?

It’s very small, maybe 3” in dia. I have it listed on eBay as an ashtray/trinket plate. Its too small for a saucer.

There are other ebay listings that include the plate with lidded sugar bowl and creamer, so more likely a tea bag plate or a plate for the creamer to sit on. But if I were selling it individually I’d probably list it as a trinket plate or butter pat or something and list the other key words in the description. BTW I have never listed anything in my life but I do shop on eBay from time to time

I like the estate sales in Metairie, especially the occasional wife (or what ever it’s called). They don’t pay attention to the toys, sports, and strange items.

I did a week in Japan last year for under 2k total. And that was with last minute flight booking.

But if I took the wife and kids? It would be north of the 8k number for sure, how much more depends on the time of the year.

I’ve already received a $400 offer on the bracelet. I turned it down.

You would get about that for scrap gold. Retail 14k is going for around 200.00 per gram.
If you can get 100.00 per gram just by selling it as is, that would be a good deal for both parties.
