Edit: Video from St. Bernard as Katrina was moving in. That video is powerful as how quickly the water was rising and to be on the roof going through that.

*Come on chicken release the Katrina thread!
I was watching a video on Katrina and got me thinking how this board was when katrina was on its way. I was always on tigerdroppings but never on the ot board when it happened. I was just on the rant not knowing what the ot board was at the time. I was wondering if someone could post the thread when Katrina was aiming right for us and I would like to read through it. I can’t imagine the stuff that is in that thread.

I remember that thread well. The mood on Friday and the mood on Saturday were quite different. It was a great thread.

I can remember walking around the office and telling people on Friday morning about this monster in the gulf and there was complete disinterest. People were expecting it to turn to Florida like the previous storms in recent years.

His first game and he does a successful fake punt from his own end zone. I love that man.

Back when we had good QB play

I much rather remember that play than everything else dealing with Katrina

I'm sure Chicken has it on either the OT-Archive Board or the Classics Board.

It was actually Saban's fault for letting Rick Clausen go tbh

That was my sophomore year at LSU. It was pretty cool to be able to walk to Saints games and drink beer in TS. No one gave a shite at those games

Saints didn't win a game but lost a couple close ones there. Good times in spite of all the heavy shite going on around all of us.

Me and my dad went to the Tampa bay game and that saints team was the worst nfl team and one of the worst games I have ever seen in my life. Me and my dad left in the 3rd quarter. We were like frick that lol. Also that LSU Tennessee game where les miles called timeout after we intercepted the pass was where I knew he wasn’t a great coach, great person but not a great coach. That timeout cost us a field goal at the end of the second quarter where Jamarcus was stopped short of the end zone and we ran out of time in the first half.

It would be nice if Chicken allowed that thread to be available.

I was just talking with my dad about Katrina today. On radar, that bitch took up damn near the whole gulf. At 32 years old, it's still one of the most unbelievable things I've seen.
