I agree, our loser of a governor is standing down because it would be against his honor code to do what is right. He would have to start telling the truth and we cannot have that.
The people doing this knew that and they know no one will stop them. It is open season for the agency that is suppose to help the seniors to take advantage of them.
This could stop 110%
1. Starting a petition if it is legal to overturn the tax.
2. Have the state organization just pull their charter. Then it is over with. Even they are too scared to do this.
It is similar to a bank robber robbing a bank knowing no one will stop them.

It's disgusting.
This woman is the largest beneficiary in that particular estate. She's the fricking director of an organization responsible for assisting seniors and she's ripping them off completely.

Nah, he's too busy trying to keep his job as he is also a piece of shite.

Someone needs to type up the “official” OT press release detailing these events which everyone can copy, paste and share throughout all of the media and social media outlets. Given his passion, I would think this is perfect for fr33mantor.

They normally get anchored.

You must have been too busy trolling the OT with your "more black people in golf" bullshite.

No doubt he personally spoke with them all and said he'd let it slide

With this many people looking into this, this woman is screwed, right?

You'd think so but I dont put anything past the current gov't officials/judges we have in BR.

Wonder if the Attny General's office could have a say in this? I am sure Jeff Landry would love another reason to go up against JBE.

Good point. Is there anything stopping JL from looking into it?

I just despise people that rip off the elderly.

Agreed, had some different people/places rip off my grandfather recently due to his memory loss.

Don't fool yourself into thinking anything will come of this. Their internal investigation will clear good ole Tasha of any wrongdoing, then she will go about her business forcing the family members out of their homes and collecting her money. Meanwhile, the race baiters will continue to spin the situation to benefit their agenda.

Absolutely not. Her co-conspirator is investigating her, which makes it an investigation into both of them. If you're investigating yourself, would you find yourself guilty and lose your career, maybe house, and possibly freedom?
Oh yeah, how is this not a criminal case?
My guess is nothing happens to any of them, and it gets swept under the rug after the lawsuit gets dropped.

Sadly, I believe this is the most likely ending. They will drag it out until something new comes along and everyone forgets about this.
Constant corruption in Louisiana. Some things never change.

What matters is that people within the black community that he insists he's trying to help are going to see how fricked up the CoA Director actions are.
It's already happening. Gravy may have deleted some comments since yesterday, but there were quite a few on his FB from black folks that were disagreeing with him on this matter.
I'm shocked that right there didn't hasten his inevitable massive coronary.
