Why do you want poor people to pay more for their shite food?
I don’t. I understand why fast food is so provocative for poor people. Maybe this will help them better judge nutritional needs and impulse buying. Nobody feels good after eating McDonalds.

Without a doubt, I knew your over-inflated ego would show up.

That sounds like it would be great for fast food employees..less customers always helps

When in a hole it is best to stop digging. If the ranting makes you feel better, then carry on, but you’re not going to win your argument.

I’m not trying to win anything. Quantifying a discussion as such, shows what little value you add. I’m offering a different POV, which most of you are incapable of understanding, for whatever reason.

Why is government coerced inflation such a difficult concept for you to grasp?

It’s not. I don’t care what a fast food employee makes.

California is already ungodly expensive. This just keeps ticking that number up.

So fast food is the only place you support an arbitrary set wage?

I don’t support it. Thanks for asking. I just don’t see the need to be in complete upheaval about possible ramifications from it. None of you have a fricking magic ball, and if any of you were as smart as you claimed, you wouldn’t be posting here. Gimme a break.

Where do you reside in California?

You consider yourself dumb? Your self loathing helps me understand your point of view. Thanks!

You are too ignorant to read past “fast food”
Any restaurant with 60 + stores nation wide is affected. I own an Acai quick serve restaurant, fresh fruit, vegan, no dairy…very heathy. We own just 1. The franchise has more than 60 nation wide.
My wife and I will have to raise our prices (currently about $10/bowl) significantly to cover this garbage. We employ mostly college aged kids just wanting to make some extra money while they are in school, not a career job. They also average about $6 an hour additional in tips. Plenty of money for these kids.
But hey, keep spewing stupid shite as small businesses get squeezed because of arbitrary laws like this one.
I live in San Diego
Our payroll is currently about 22-24% of our monthly expenses, if I don’t increase prices (and no other changes) it will go to about 30% of my expenses. That is 100% out of our pocket if I don’t raise prices

Why do you keep repeating this? McDonald’s corporate doesn’t pay wages dumb frick
Ahh yes. The franchisee would be in a great place, sin corporate. Reinvent the burger game.

You’re the one with zero understanding of economics and claims to employ 40 people with a 145k monthly payroll.
This isn’t about fast food workers, this can and will be applied to every industry and you’re to stupid to even grasp that concept. Forget about the fact that the governor of California is a presidential candidate.

Nice deflection dumbass. I’ll ask again, who pays the wages?

And to respond, now your Big Mac meal will cost $20

Keep digging until you hit a Panda Express in China.
