There is no Cajun navy.

There's good guys out there doing great things. Period.

Anyone promoting an organization out of this is flirting with exploiting the work of these guys for notoriety.

How do I get in touch with the Cajun navy? I don't have a boat but I live in Houston in a central non-flooding location and can offer to try to repair any aluminum hull or stainless prop damage they might sustain so they can keep going. I'm a naval architect but I tig weld aluminum on the side.

I know the young local guy is only trying to help but he seems to be confusing more people than helping. The lady has already had to correct him 3-4 times

I commented on this in tRant and immediately got three DV's.

Jesus people, can we not put our differences aside in times of emergency?

My thoughts and prayers go out to those affected by the storm.

My admiration and best wishes go out to the people that volunteered to help.
