I get a lot of these wrong if they are right in OP. Though I know a few that even the person said it differently than what is on that paper. Daigle, Trahan, Comeaux, and Charpentier off the top of my head.

I should stipulate when I was growing up, never heard it that way where I lived. Same with Trahan. Moved to BR and heard tray-Han and was confused.

This is closer to the French pronunciation, with the "re" being essentially silent.. Pee-tree is what the dog uses
