It's hilarious seeing all these people arguing that some of the names are "wrong" because it doesn't fit their english dialect

Seriously went to an East side parade one year and the dude that threw the party had cooked up a ton of nutria burgers. They were actually tasty. But yeah that's my trashy east side story

"Caw-m-o?" Why not say "Como," like Perry, and I know folks who pronounce "Pitre," "Pete," and I've never heard "Daigle" pronounced "Day guh." We had a priest at our church names "Labat" and he pronounced his name "La-bot."
