Buying a Crossover/SUV

My mom is in the market for a new car. She’s driven a suburban for the past 15 years, but never really needed anything that big. So now she wants something smaller.
She doesn’t really know what she wants, outside of it being white with tan leather, heated seat, nice sound system, etc. It would be a 2017 or 2018 model year.
She’s mentioned a Traverse/Acadia/Enclave, a Highlander, an Explorer, and still likes Tahoe’s/Yukons. I’m really trying to steer her more torwards something reliable, like a Highlander or the RX L, but wanted others opinions on these cars, or possibly something she hasn’t thought of yet.
TIA
Edit: I changed the title, since she really probably wants something that’s a mid size to large suv and not technically a crossover. Also, she lives in BTR, so winter driving is not an issue.

Jeep Grand Cherokee.
It will fall apart before the others, but it will look great until then.

Tahoe, Explorer, Highlander etc. considered crossovers?

Do not buy a Traverse. The resell value is terrible.

Dude those are full size SUVs, not really crossovers.
Hyundai makes a really solid product. Santa fe (7 steater) and Santa fe sport (5 seater) are really nice.

We bought a Kia Sorrento SLT after the flood & could not be happier. Test drove Toyota’s, Acadia, Hyundai, Honda - hands down best vehicle.
MSRP $45,500 Paid $40,800

If it snows where she's at then Subaru Outback is the only choice.

4runner. It isn't a crossover. But it's a damned fine comfortable vehicle that she can keep for 15 years without a single worry.
And reliability is a luxury all its own.

I test drove a sorrento today, it was very nice and Kia has obviously come a long way in a decade with the quality of their vehicles. It’s also got a 6/60k full warranty and 100k engine warranty, Can’t really beat that.

We bought a fully loaded outback 3.6R for $36k. 0% and no money down.
It’s clearly the best choice for all weather in its class.
