there are better vehicles to be found out there for around 4k. just gotta keep an eye out and buy from an individual rather than a dealership

Yeah old shite cars are a lot safer than new cars.
I care about safety more than money.

Google says these can fetch $3,000. WTF. A 26-year-old Korean car.

In one of those cars, I know what he ain’t getting for his 16th birthday.
LAID.

This is kind of sad. Used vehicles are stupid expensive and you can’t justify buying such a stupid low priced vehicle

FTFY. Those Gen Z skanks wouldn't know what hit them. They'll forget about their Soylent-swilling boyfriends the minute they see OP's kid cutting off his catalytic converters with a Sawzall.

You can find quality older vehicles. I don’t know if you can find one for less than $4K, but I was just speaking in general. It doesn’t have to be a $20,000 brand new vehicle.

A 16 year old needs something that he can get a scratch or a scrape on, which is inevitable at that age. I think either one of those cars would be appropriate as a first car.

If you dead set on a 1995 model, which would have been 10 years old when he was born, get him a Bronco or something cooler like that. Cmon man you dont have to break the bank but atleast give your son a chance
Posted on 4/21/21 at 8:23 pm to dirtytigers
A 95 bronco will at least double what he’s planning on spending.
Posted on 4/21/21 at 8:25 pm to Pesci_Avocado
Wtf, at least get a car with air bag technology instead of a cassette player, lol!

You’re shopping for 1995 model year vehicles...shite man something that old for an extra grand you can probs afford to get him a Ferrari

Bought my 16 yo daughter a 2000 mustang for 4K I believe. It had 117000 miles. She’s up to 127000 in 6 months and loving it.
In your position I’d go with the Toyota given everything else is equal.

I'm amazed that some of you people can get out of bed and dress yourselves without asking the OT what sock to put on first.
