Lincoln Police responded to a report of an assault around 10:25 a.m. at the Burger King at 2504 O St. on May 9. A confrontation arose between two customers in the drive-thru lane and employees working inside the restaurant, resulting in 45-year-old Burger King employee Timothy M. Suggs walking outside to meet with an 18-year-old customer who had left the vehicle.

The victim suffered five swollen knots on his head, redness under his right eye, a laceration on his chin, a split bottom lip and redness to the sides of his neck. Suggs reported minor injuries to his elbow, jaw, chin and hand, according to police.
