I just finished the entire 180 page manifesto. Holleee Sheeeeeeit.
Maybe 20 pages covered his manifesto, then maybe 40 pages of memes then 100 or so pages of him laboriously and exhaustively kitting himself out.
It did remind me of myself as a teenager with more time than money. While I was setting up a stereo system and building car engines within my budget I was daydreaming about building the same but with an unlimited budget, he on the other had spent 30 or so pages on what would comprise the best AR build and ammo for his intended spree and a huge number of pages just on body armor. He used multiple different ammo loads for the various phases of his plan.
If he had a job, girlfriend, and car to obsess over he may well have not gone down this road. I spent plenty of time at his age in my own head but it was about going fast, playing music loud and getting laid.

Not going to lie it was pretty fricking autistic, I like getting into the head of crazies but I couldn't make it all the way through - the manifesto part itself is robotic and could have been spat out by an AI if fed a diet of posts from 4chan for a while. Then memes? Then page after page of his AR build, body armor choices, and how he got past various restrictions? christ almighty.

The genie’s waay out of the bottle already on politicizing the tragedy. CNN has it half picked apart already and have no reservations about moving that quickly on it. Biden has as well. When it comes down to brass tacks, there’s actually no genuine reason to cover this thing as runaway top story beyond maybe 10 days at most because what can they achieve that is ultimately a public service to fellow citizens inasmuch as education, knowledge, preparation, etc? As it is it’s a pretty open and shut case for prosecution, thus won’t require nor call for any extremely extensive further investigation. Plus there’s no apparent distinctive aspect that puts it in a category all its own. Therefore the only thing left to do with it is weaponize it for political purposes.

If he had been a little bit intelligent he would have just let the bad ones shoot each other - it seems like that happens every day. There was no need to go to a grocery store and shoot people - in fact, I doubt anyone at a fricking grocery store is a bad person at all.
