Don't know if it will be like when I was growing up in New Orleans but then they had thick shakes and fried pies dusted with powered sugar...for the win!

It honestly might not make it in BR
It is Nola's version of Fleur de Lis and johnnys pizza
All three of those places are propped up by hometown nostalgia more than anything else. But if it were to work in BR they are in the perfect location

Rotolos is opening a "new location" in the little shopping center on the south side of the Burbank/ben hur intersection.
It's going to kill it. Walking distance from over 3k+ LSU students at Arlington, cottages, Wildwood, exchange, and woodlands.

Was thinking that would be a perfect location for Dat Dog

There is one in Covington now. I believe it's been open for about a year. I love their burgers.

Had a Buds in BR in the Mid 80's Florida at Airline.
Made it about a years or so..
Owner was a nice guy named Jesus.
It was OK but nothing special.

Oh, it will kill it for sure.
In 5-10 years, that area will be shite, though, IMO.

I returned to NOLA four months after Katrina. I had lived in BR for almost 6 years. The first two months (at least), I had 2 #7's with onions every day. God Bless their hot dogs.

Burger chain out of New Orleans that's been around forever, but never has gone north of their short-lived LaPlace location.
There used to be one in mandeville and currently one in Covington.
I assume you mean west?
