The underpasses have been flooding since I was a kid in the 1970s. They put that huge station right there on the 610 split and they still flood.

Agree. It’s much better than having 17 out like in August

Right, ideally this is the type of time you could take a few out for preventative maintenance and such... plus the odd chance that 1-2 actually break down and need work

It’s like 120 pumps total, so I’d say 5 out and outside hurricane season isn’t much of a knock IF those numbers are accurate

Great, now I need to read your entire post history to make sure I don’t have a maniac in my neighborhood

Looks like the Pontchartrain Expressway at the superdome exit is still down to one lane due to high water.

I ran outside and that clap happened, it was pretty impressive. Lots of lightning this afternoon. Old Metry is high and dry.

Herg, be careful for loose human teeth in the food...... Found a surprise last time I ate there.

Speaking of body counts. How many cars are in the moat under the railroad overpass on Canal Blvd?

It was an intense day on the streets today. Definitely just like the flood of last summer.

I lived on Jeff Davis for years. Right up the street. Same side of the neutral ground as the BBG

That's obviously because they didn't rename the street.
