He claims to own land in north La. I’m pretty sure he’s one of the typical south La dudes who lives in the flatland wooded/prairie swamp terrain that never ventures north of Lafayette. He doesn’t know bout them Piney Woods.
NW La is absolutely hilly. Just because the elevation doesn’t reach higher than 535, doesn’t mean it doesn’t have some steep inclines in places. Everything around Toledo, Many, Natchitoches and Florien is pretty up & down as far as hilly terrain.

Have land in Union Parish just off HWY 2
One of our deer stands is called the "top of the hill" stand because it is so high up there. It backs up to a Pine Plantation we clearcut about 3 year ago.
Still, never once heard anyone, and I literally mean anyone, refer to anywhere in louisiana as hill country
