Well if you live long enough we all are going to deteriorate at some point in time

He was great in that. It was sort of a prophecy of today and the explosion of legal sports betting

Same with Biden but some people call him President.

My dad died from Alzheimer's. There was a movie maybe 8-10 years ago with Robert Downey Jr. playing a lawyer with Robert Duvall as his old judge dad that had a lot of accuracy too it.
Depending on how it progresses they can get mean, gotta realize how frustrating it must be.
Mom said Dad cried when they sold his truck, glad I wasn't there for that, was a huge symbol of a big part of his life that was over.

my dad had it too, the cruelest of diseases, imo, I never cared for much for anything that Willis did but I wouldn’t wish that on anyone

I’d rather remember him as he was, not what he’s deteriorating to. Can’t understand why anyone would watch this willfully.
Presumably for the realization that this shite is real, and time will eventually come for your mind and/or body.
Horrible to see, but I think they’re raising general awareness.

It's sad he probably won't last much longer but at least he's surrounded by a family that obviously loves him.
Die Hard with a Vengeance is one of the best movies on ideal race relations I have ever seen.

My dad and MIL as well. I told my wife if it ever happens to me, put a pillow over my head and jump on top of it till I stop moving.

Really big fan of his. It is very hard to watch him going through this difficulty and I hope he can maintain his privacy during this struggle. People need to have some damn manners when a fellow human being is suffering. No one needs to see this stage of his life.

Yes, it is disconcerting and heart breaking. Shite happens when we get older. And some get dementia at a relatively young age which sucks. You never know what will happen man.

This makes me sad. Bruce is one of my absolute favorites.

My mom died in 2018 while my dad was in the mid to late stages of dementia. He would ask where she was and we would have to remind him that she died. I can't imagine how he re lived her death every time that he forgot that she died. He died in 2020 and my mom told me before she died that he would never be mean, even with dementia. She was correct. He was often confused and frustrated but he was never mean. RIP mom and dad. You were the best parents ever.

if I get the slightest inkling that I’m getting it, and I expect too, I’ll take care of that myself

My mom is 82 and has dementia. She loves her home but my dad dies in 2014 and mom hasn’t been the same. It’s gotten worse over the past year. My sister and I care for her and organize her medicines. She is diabetic as well so it is more complicated. My mom can remember things that happened 60 years ago but it’s usually the same topics that we talk about each time. My mother can take care of her bodily functions but she cannot cook.
We are looking at a facility that will treat my mom with dignity and respect. It breaks my heart to lose my mom.
