Honestly a teacher can reach maybe 1 or 2 of those kids tops, hopefully each teacher they see can reach a different child however the reality is some kids are so far gone you can't reach them. The issue becomes by the time you get to know and have them working hard it is almost Thanksgiving or Christmas and those students are already behind. So while you've reached them they still are behind and they're still going to struggle because of that.

This already happens. This whole institutional racism BS is their fallback, because most real racism doesn't exist.

What the advocates don't tell people is that a lot of incarcerated population booked on drugs had property or gun charges dropped for a lesser drug charge. Roll through most parish jails or State prisons and you're more likely to find career criminals than the kind of people the SJWs want us to rally around.

So saying "we need to give the schools more money" doesn't really help the biggest problems you have with your students?
Posted on 8/12/17 at 12:58 pm to upgrayedd
More money makes things easier to be honest because it allows schools to hire more teachers, more paras, more instructional facilitators which then in turn take those problems children out of the classroom. Therefore, those that want to learn get the education they deserve and those that don't want to learn start learning "lifes kills" instead.

If possible could I shoot you an email or two back and forth bouncing some questions you may be able to answer?

The last thing schools need is more money. They have too much now.

It's a demographic problem. I seriously doubt that Zachary, Central, AP, LP spend far more per student but they have much better schools. Way too many single parent homes and kids living in ghettos in BR. I don't see that trend reversing either.

So the unbiased national media WILL take on this story and shame Gordon for his male aggression against a strong vocal black woman, correct?

So you're saying we really need to have a 2 tier education system.

I bet our local white SJWs are applauding it and saying she should have her blackness and her vagina taken away

While a valid point, what you just described really isn't money going towards education; its money covering for a larger cultural issue so that education can occur

Congrats, you're a teacher.
We spend more money than any other country per student on education. Some of the worst school systems in the country spend the most per student.
If they need more money, they can quit wasting the taxpayer money they are getting now.

It is going towards education in that students are receiving better cirriculum though. Teachers are most effective when their class is in the 15-18 student range, that has been proven. By hiring more (better) teachers you are giving students more people to bounce ideas off of as well.

Meh, interventions can work and have proven to be effective. I'm not saying you need to go strictly to that but when I have 25 students and 3 are problem children it presents a problem. If I had 18 and 1 was the problem it is more manageable.
