So the two highest ups cleared him of any wrong doing but the city is going to fire him. Baton Rouge
It's probably in his best interest. But they should find somewhere to transfer him.

No, it isn't.
It is on page 16. The exact language is not in the report, but it was in the DOJ report. Both use of force experts call it a tactical error, and one says it was not appropriate deescalation.

He didn't put the gun to AS head. He aimed it from an arm lengths or so away, which is still too close which put the officers in an exposed position. Never does it say he put the gun to his head.

No, it isn't. In fact, there is nothing on page sixteen referencing Salamoni pointing a gun at anyone.
The AG's findings regarding Salamoni drawing a gun on Sterling, as found on page seven of the official report, are as follows:
quote:
Officer Salamoni draws his firearm from the holster and and tells Sterling in a firm voice, "Don't fricking move or I'll shoot you in the head." This level of verbal control appears to work as the officers are then able to direct Sterling to the vehicle and attempt to place him in custody.

The exact language is not in the report
Correct, because it did not happen. It's fabricated by aggitators
quote:
, but it was in the DOJ report.
No, it was not. No where in the DOJ report does it state that Salamoni put a gun to Sterling's head. The entire narrative of Salamoni "putting a gun to Sterling's head" was fabricated by Gary Chambers and others to draw an emotional response from those who do not seek information for themselves. Anyone who still pushes this false narrative is either intentionally lying, intentionally ignorant, or extremely illiterate.

Again, false.

adam is probably referencing sterling's attorneys claiming that was in the report after the DOJ released its report, despite it not being there fat gary, denise, and our stupid mayor have all taken their word on it instead of reading because reading is hard

Pretty sad that the mayor wanted them fired and she had never seen all the videos from the doj or read any of the reports

She opened up the City to even more liability by making that statement.
I am sure Salamoni’s lawyer caught it and will show a clear timeline if it ends up in litigation.

None of which bothers Madame Mayah. Her attitude appears to be one of “oh well, that’s why we have insurance”.
Apparently nobody has ever made her aware of the fact that insurance underwriters take a very dim view of clients with that attitude.

From page 16...
This is the page number 17, but 16 if you view the PDF with no cover.

"Sanders did not have a problem with the BRPF officers pulling their service weapons out and having them at the ready position. He believed Officer Salamoni pointing his service weapon at Sterling’s head and using profane language was a policy issue and Salamoni should have been disciplined but it was not a 4th or 8th Amendment issue."

We talking about Sharon Brooms here breh. She continues to show just how ignorant she truly is.

This was discussed this morning on 107.3.
The lawyer they had on went into detail about how SWB wanted both fired right away without seeing the facts. Then forcing the current Chief to retire when he said he would not fire either until due process was served. New guy comes in on the heels of SWB hiring him and fires two cops that have been investigated twice without charges being filed for doing their job. But fired just to appease a certain demographic of a city.
That will not bode well for the new Chief or Brooms and her clown show.

The recaption by the expert on page seventeen does not state, in any way, that Salamoni put a gun to Sterling's head.
Intentionally lying, intentionally ignorant, or extremely illiterate

Honest question, how does Broome get anything done? Why do people listen and pander to her? I understand how someone like her gets elected.
But usually people like her are completely incompetent while in office. What can she actually do to someone like the Police Chief if they don't listen to her?

quote:And then you quote this to act like you were right
It isn't acceptable for an officer to put a gun to someone's head and say "I will kill you bitch."
quote:
He believed Officer Salamoni pointing his service weapon at Sterling’s head and using profane language
First, putting a gun to someones head IS NOT pointing a gun at someones head. Learn that difference.
Second, profane language IS NOT "I will kill you bitch"
