It’s apparent that the “good ole boy” network is alive and well within the department and that only his race benefits. We are coming full circle and when all the honkeys take off they will be left with the shithole they’ve made

Yep…and that’s when they’ll start harassing white law abiding citizens. They’ll justify their actions as payback.

One of them reads, “Senior leadership identified as Chief of Police Murphy Paul has been routinely accused both publicly and internally by subordinates within the Baton Rouge Police of providing a disparity in discipline. The disparity is alleged to be motivated primarily on the grounds of lenient discipline for Officers of color and harsh discipline for Officers of non-color.”

Have a neighbor that worked there for years and took early retirement. Among his many crazy stories were white officers only being forced into hours and hours of sensitivity training, and the one that made him retire, being forced to patrol in troubled neighborhoods with the lights on as soon as the unit entered the land neighborhood. Essentially making them a sitting target.

SWB and Puppet Pawl are doing everything, including criminal actions, to ensure all the non-colored officers leave.
They are attempting to set up a closed loop organized crime system using the mayor's and police chief's offices as base camp

Who in the hell enforced, and authorized this? That Officer is going to end up getting someone killed. WTF BRPD!!

Those tPOS in those neighborhoods won't even think twice to shoot at cops.

Why? Murphy Paul's police department is the gold standard for which the DOJ thinks other PD's should emulate. Just wait until Merrick Garland gets finished with the State Police.

took early retirement

Paul and his crew have saved the city-parish millions of dollars with all the early retirements. So to some, that is a great thing. But that savings will come at a significant cost to the law abiding residents of Baton Rouge.

It’s incredible the number of officers that have voluntarily left early over the last 4 years. I never seen anything like it. And it was some really great police officers that he simply let walk away without even attempting to keep them.

We are talking talent, experience, and leadership that just simply left instead of dealing with the administration.

For an administration that claims to be big into statistics and studying trends, they sure have made zero attempts to address this or identify why it’s happening. The reason they haven’t done this is because this is all part of their plan and it’s by design to dismantle the department and rebuild it from the ground up.

The bullshite excuse given by some as too why so many are leaving now is because these officers couldn’t work for a black chief and black mayor ignoring the fact that all of them had work for years under both of these before, (Leduff & Holden). This racial excuse is the nail they hang their excuse hat on to explain the exodus so they don’t have to shine a light on the real reason it’s happening.

The buzz words “best practices” & “21st century policing” are two of the best things to ever happen to the criminal element in this country and two of the worst things to ever happen to law abiding citizens in the country and the BRPD’s current administration have 100% bought into these concepts.

It’s a disaster

And nothing will come of this.
SWB and Paul are prime examples of what this country has become. If you’re not one of them…you’re on the outside looking in.

Thank you for your service in protecting the law abiding citizens of Baton Rouge. The average, tax paying, law abiding citizen is truly in a lot of danger in the city with a broken police department. You could be pumping gas at the Lobdell shell station and next to you could be a killer from NBR who has killed three or more people but has yet to be caught. The number of serial killers in NBR is staggering and they are roaming freely throughout the city without a care in the world because they know BRPD is handcuffed by this shitty Broome and Paul administration.

If the Department of Justice were to offer immunity to some of the senior level staff, both present or past, I have heard that the administration will collapse like a house of cards.

The career men and women of the Baton Rouge Police Department are as resilient at they come.

This domino is just the tip of the iceberg of what may be about to take place.

And as Speedy will agree, BRPD used to have some of the best training in the South. The training today is garbage. The instructors are political appointees who have no idea what they are doing. They are relying on a very few qualified people, who will leave as soon as they can. They don’t even have ammunition to practice because they ran out. It’s a joke.
