You do realize why america is so great is because we have better laws than most of the world and people are treated much more fairly no matter the race or sex and have more freedom. WTF right does an american have to tell countries what their laws should be? Arab countries kill women and gays for practically nothing...that is much worse than Russia being strict on weed. Asia has a ton of laws that seem outdated and americans would be appalled. Point is once you leave this country you should know that you are leaving the best one in the world...your opinions don't matter to other countries.

You are all for legalization of marijuana, but when the American you don't like, because they used their right to free speech to say something you don't like, you are happy she got the sentence she got and is moved to an even worse Russian period for doing something that if it was a Russian citizen charged with the same thing the punishment is maximum a few months in jail or a $500 fine.

Do our lax criminal laws allow for criminals to remain in society causing crime rates to rise? Such as light sentencing and cashless bail.
