they've already stretched the 737 out as far as they can before it just looks silly and becomes unstable and dangerous.
The range just isn't there.
And you are right...their low stance looks silly. I imagine they risk of having tail strike issues at takeoff by extending it even more. As a passenger, the A320 platform is a more comfortable plane. Those extra couple of inches of shoulder room make all the difference to me.
They need the 757 back. Cancelling it after a temporary post-9/11 slow down in airplane manufacturing was very short sighted.
The 787 Dreamliner design, on the other hand, was a great example of how they got things right. I'd argue that the 777 is yet another example. They look like blimps on the airfield from the distance sometimes (especially among smaller jets), but it almost seems like every other plane at CDG is a 777.

A lot of Brits are in to Louisiana, Mississippi Delta area culture.
True. Many are quite familiar with Louis Armstrong, Fats Domino, etc. and know they are from Louisiana.
Brits also have something going on these days with "Louisiana" food. I've seen a number of food items over there on menus or signs labelled as Louisiana or Louisiana-style. They included BBQ and (best) a vegetarian burrito.
None were legit Louisiana food, but they apparently use that label to suggest flavorful or something positive.
