Load your wife and kids in a van or truck. Go by the CVS and let them pick 2-3 boxes of candy and favorite drink. Head to the drive in with a mattress and blankets.

Beats a dirty, sticky theater where people can't act appropriately in social settings.
A person takes a random chick he fwbs and they get in the back corner of a dark theater where she blows him and some people just NEVER forget it.

This is nothing new. This used to be common when drive ins were still prevalent.

About as trashy as putting a tarp in your truck bed
and filling it with water making a redneck pool...
and yes i did it once.

You can sit in the car and shoot the shite with your date while enjoying a smuggled beer.

Going to a drive in is an experience. We have fun with it. It's just a different way to watch a movie and the kids love it. The couch is a cool idea.

yea...the hassle of moving a heavy arse pull out couch out there for a 2 hour movie don't seem worth it to me. But I'm sure they loved the attention

Pretty popular with kids. Here's the one in NW Houston.

Coyote Drive In

We enjoy the OG one in Fort Worth. It's right outside downtown and have craft beer on tap. It's great.

This is the rare intersection of baw and hipster. It could have been either.
