She should have finished the cermony, had him served on the way out of church, and taken half his fricking worth....

Within 12 hours of walking out of that church, Alex was sticking.

If this actually happened.

Which it didn’t.

Sounds like she did the bride a solid.

Maybe don't be a cheating prick and this isn't an issue.

This right here.

As a guest, I'd have been pissed that I got dressed up to attend a ceremony the bride knew she was never going to go through with. Also, she just costed her had a ton of money by not canceling.

Also, this feels like a made for social media "look at how strong I am" 8 paragraph post. Feels like we've entered a distorted period where people are living their lives as an avatar on social media. Regular people have turned themselves into quasi-brands.

I saw something on FB the other day where it was literally like a 10 paragraph post this woman created talking about her teenage son getting angry and breaking a glass mirror, and how she didn't scream at him but collected herself outside, came in, and held him while he cried and apologized. Of course, at the bottom was a picture, and the post was being shared around. Why do people do this shite? If I was a kid and my mom posted my most vulnerable moments on social media in effort to win social brownie points for herself, I'd be livid.

She allegedly found out about the cheating the night before the wedding. I doubt she could’ve gotten her money back by canceling.

I faced our guests once more

“I love all of you and as horrible as this is I’m glad you all are here. There will not be a wedding reception today, but instead, there will be a celebration of honesty, finding true love and following your heart even when it hurts.”

There was a smattering of awkward applause and a little cheering. What was the correct response to this news? It was certainly not the wedding day I had planned but to our credit, it was one hell of a party.

After reading the ending, there is 0% chance any of this ever happened.

If it was the night before when she found it, it’s already paid for.

I misread that as “Bride out cheats cheating groom at wedding” and was expecting something else.

When I found out my ex wife cheated on me while I was out of the country I planned on changing her FB password and then posting the messages on her account so all of her family could see what a dumb bitch she was.

Decided to take the high road and just kick her out/divorce her instead. Some people aren't worth it.

You keep the nudes, and screen shots in case she got cray cray?

I told an ex that I wanted it done, and she make sure she moves on with no dram. If not, then I would let all know the real reason. Even my family thinks it's "typical" me not being able to "commit".

you are the type of person that would bitch, and whine about everything. Like the bride would care about you "having to get all dolled up for nothing" when she just found out less than 24hrs prior that her future is no longer the future she was expecting.

You'd be pissed you showed up even if she did cancel it via FB, but you didnt get the cancellation. You'd complain about her not calling you directly to notify you.

I'll leave how the "money wasted for not canceling" comment for you ponder how dumb that makes you sound.
