FWIW I didn’t watch the video so I didn’t know he was wearing medals. It never occurred to me that he would be wearing medals instead of ribbons because I never bothered to pay for the medals and have them put in my uniform the correct way and knew very few people that did bother with it.

I don't know much about your uniforms. Could she be mistaking marksmanship badges for medals?

The marksmanship badges could look like medals I suppose. I just watched the video. It was nothing but stock photos so there’s no way to know.

I only read the first post. And this is my opinion. And it will NOT change. ALL women are fricking crazy. I don't give a flying frick if another woman shows up wearing a wedding dress, the bride should not give a frick. Who cares? If my buddy showed up wearing the exact same tuxedo as me, I would not even notice. Who the frick cares? This "wearing something that outdoes me" attitude is so fricking stupid. Get the frick over it!!!!

Again, I read the OP only. I'm quite sure the baws have similar posts as me, the LLOTOT are with the bride, and the awesome people that defend our country are "I don't give a flying frick what anyone thinks" (and I agree).

I was in from 06-16, my first ball I wore the pickle suit. I was not issued dress blues, so I didn't feel like spending the money in boot camp. After Iraq in 07, I was told I needed blues for the ball from my SNCOIC. I thought it was stupid as frick because they were still not issued/required at balls. Got them anyways and it was "requested" that everyone wear alphas.
