They look better when you pay to have them boarded instead of pinning a bunch of different medals on top of each other.

No shite! It costs like 5 dollars per medal and a fee for mounting per each medal.

The only people who do it shite like are people that have two medals and mount them on a 2 bar.

Again, you're making yourself look very silly here. Your arguments are some of the worse ones you could be using.

You said you were a second award pfc above, and it shows

The marksmanship badges could look like medals I suppose. I just watched the video. It was nothing but stock photos so there’s no way to know.
I ask because I can easily see a civilian mistaking marksmanship badges with medals. They're shiny and pinned on your chest. I'd probably make the same assumption if I didn't know what they are.

No prob devil.

If you weren't a second award PFC, you could have gotten a good conduct medal to increase your awards and kept a couple hundo from not being busted down

Sorry for partying. It was worth it. I mean really, what’s the difference between a PFC and a Lance Corporal anyway?

FWIW I got out as a Staff Sergeant so I started giving a frick at some point and turned it around. Still never got those stupid medals boarded though.

Okay kids it was fun. I’m out for the night.

Precisely. Granted, I believe this shite is fake as hell, but it's a douche move to wear something outside the dress code requested. Kicking someone out for a marine dress uniform is another level entirely.

I partied my arse off. Ran all around southern California underage drinking, did a beer rail challenge at the barracks lining up the cat walk railing with beer cans one night, stopped in Spain on the way back from Iraq ending up in a brothel getting my junk cleaned in a beday (after a 7 month deployment) and paying for a three some, having hurricane parties in Jvegas and drinking while calling high school kids while on recruiting. I did my fair share and that's not even 1% of the stories.

I got our as a Staff Sergeant as well and you seem pretty ignorant to not know where medals go on dress blues.

Probably a good idea. Make sure to tell Chesty goodnight.

Nah he wears his blues still, but they are in regs since he can't afford medals.

I usually wouldn't, but he's saying some weird shite. I usually enjoy him ranting, but I do not believe he was a Staff Sergeant like he claims though for a few reasons.

It's also appropriate for a Marine to act confident, but not when you say dumb shite and get rawled up over some wedding story

This runs contrary to my interactions with Marines. I've found you guys to be very confident when saying dumb shite.

Why would I lie about that

I don’t get riled up on TD brother. It was a fun thread and I picked a side and argued it, which is the whole point of this place. At least for me. I could have just as easily picked the other side and argued with Darth.

Its the most appropriate time to act confident no? I mean if you’re going to say dumb shite at least don’t act like a pussy while you do it.

*this is not to say I’ve said anything dumb. All of my posts in this thread have been spot on.
