The existence of a dog is not a threat. I would bet that any dog that seriously injures anyone has displayed aggression that was ignored prior to doing so...

Agree with this.

Parents of child eaten by pet Python mystified that their beloved pet would do such a thing. Play with dangerous animals, suffer dangerous consequences.

Do you live in a turkish prison?

No but I have seen a grown man naked....(Airplane reference.....).

No, it is pretty common in most of the South Western US....Ours was stucco but many are painted or just left grey. They are expensive but will last forever....the sun in SE New Mexico will destroy wood and melt vinyl, concrete or steel is about the only thing that will last....

I'd never understand anyone's Pitbull Fetish. Just not a risk worth accepting.

Pit bulls are awesome. In between walking my pits I also love playing hopscotch with a loaded pistol stuck to my temple.

I’ve always said that pit bulls are the perfect family pet right up to the moment they’re not.

I have a friend who had a pit for about 6 years without any signs of aggression or malice toward anyone. Last year, they were watching their grandson (I think he was about 3-4 years old). The kid and the dog were playing together but the dog suddenly turned and bit the little boy in the side of the face. No warning, no reason for the attack. Kid had to get his ear sewn back together and some stiches in the face. Luckily, he is fine and just has a small scar.
But the other guy guaranteed us the dog would have shown signs of aggression prior.

Lot of dogs snap. We had a crazy as hell chihuahua that would bite anyone. Left stitches on my daughter. Should have put him down years before but "he was part of the family".

The difference here with this breed, or other large, and particularly untrained large breeds, is their capacity to injure or kill that's not present with smaller crazy dogs.

Yes, it is the breed no matter how good a parent you are to them. That moment they eventually snap, and most do, they're a killing machine.

Of course big cuck texas doesn't like the facts.

It's easily searchable, but here's a pubmed paper on the subject. I'm sure you can find a CNN or NYT article, but let's keep it peer-reviewed. PubMed

We estimate that free-ranging domestic cats kill 1.4-3.7 billion birds and 6.9-20.7 billion mammals annually.
If you are going to let your disgusting toxoplasmosis infested cats roam, then for God sake get them fixed so they can't breed and cause even more damage.

It’s almost as bad as having a damned Hyena or tiger for a pet. Only with the latter violence is expected.

Friend agreed to keep his buddies pit bull while the buddie vacationed. Went out side and saw the pit bull had his cow on the ground by the neck. Said he had to use a 2x4 to beat the dog off since it wouldn't let go.

Pit bulls were bred to kill. That's why they kill more humans by far than any other breed. If I see one in my yard, it'll die.
