As a former pit owner, get rid of every single one of these dogs.

Pit bulls are a CIA op.

They are used to wipe out moderately sized middle class subdivisions of the white middle aged children.

Yeah, we just had an incident in my neighborhood Friday. Three pit bulls attacked an 11 year old boy riding a bicycle, drug him into a ditch and he lost over half of his scalp and part of his ear. Luckily he survived it but he's pretty banged up

Jesus. I can't believe he survived with THREE pits attacking him. That's nuts. He's incredibly lucky.

Did someone intervene, or did the dogs just get tired and go away/let him go?

From what I heard the dogs eventually just left him and the boy was found still in the ditch. Here's a link to the story

Exterminate the breed. Complete genocide is warranted.

The family says they have reported these dogs to Columbia County Sheriff’s Office several times before. Ericka says she filed her first report last year and says neighbors have also made reports and complaints.

The owner of the three dogs, Burt Baker III, arrived on the scene and told deputies the dogs were his. He told officers the dogs like to chase people on bicycles.

After learning from animal control the owner has had previous reports and warnings in the past, deputies charged Baker with reckless conduct.

What a POS owner.

I would go for a walk around the neighborhood and when I was attacked, there would be 3 pitbulls with bullets in their heads.

InB4, it's the owner not the breed.

Why is it that this one breed seems to have the worst owners?

My neighborhood is filled with dogs. People walk them all the time, but we don't have any pit owners and don't have any issues.

Both of my dogs are 75+ pounds, but wouldn't hurt a fly. One of them accidentally got loose last summer, but he didn't go off attacking little kids or old ladies. It's not in his DNA.

Pits DO have it in their DNA, but no one knows what triggers them to attack. Because of their unpredictability and potential to cause great harm and death when triggered they need to be eradicated.

Doesn’t sound like he’s quite out of the woods yet.

Best dog I ever had. Lazy as shite. Didn't bark. Made sure cats never came in our yard. Wouldn't let strangers or other dogs around my kids
That being said, he was 12 when the kids were born. And we never let any dog around our kids unless we're almost arms reach. But too much shite happens with these dogs. Exterminate them. My lab>my pit even though my lab is ADHD

Because most of the people who have them, get them for protection or "status symbol" and are not the brightest or most responsible citizens.

Have you been to the pound in BR? Most dogs in there have pit in them.

Not in BR, but it's the same here. Description online says "Lab-mix" but it bears little resemblance to a Lab.

My old neighbor had three of those pieces of shite and refused to neuter them. I know for a fact that two of them attacked people or other animals. Local LEO did nothing, but someone else took care of the situation in both cases.

My wife thinks I did it but it wasn't me. Both of those dogs died suddenly from renal failure. Classic radiator fluid poisoning. I had nothing to do with it, but I am not saddened by their demise either.

I’d have killed those dogs well before they attacked someone. There’s no way in hell I’d let a bunch of pit bulls run loose around my neighborhood bc their owner is a deadbeat

I don’t understand what it is about pit bulls that makes them just “snap” one day and attack their owners, children and non-threatening dogs.

My sister in law is blind with Seeing Eye dog and lived in Dallas for a good many years. One of her blind friends had their dog attacked by a Pit Bull and nearly killed their dog.Someone intervened only reason dog survived.
Messicans were moving into her neighborhood with their pit bulls, she got really anxious about going out with her dog.
The dog can sense when their owners are anxious and don’t do their best work.
Couple years ago she moved to England Oaks in Alex(,gated senior community) and is much happier.
