Lafayette isn't BR or Nola. They might pretend to be woke with their comments on Facebook, but they won't do much of anything.

What do you mean?

Correct he got pulled over for warrants jumped out and ran and started shooting. Last i heard they still were searching and might of had an area blocked off looking for him.

It was Jacobs or Tobys.

If it wasn’t so late I’d call my dad and ask him. I’ll ask him tomorrow. He’s in his 70’s now and I’m sure he’s sleeping

Laffy had a movie theater shooting

Baton Rouge had violet protest and cops getting ambushed, shot and killed.

NOLA, doesn’t play that shite

The lafayette theater shooting was a crazy old white man from Alabama who randomly picked lafayette

And the Baton Rouge ambush shooting was a black racist ex military frick who drove in from Missouri .

Neither one was due to the people actually living in the 2 cities

Jacobs Four Corner was da shite in the 70’s so I hurd. Tobys was also around that part of town I believe. Stay on Cameron and hit Boo Boo’s night club for some dancin.

I was thinking residents burning their own cities down, but I guess that really doesn’t matter anymore as seen with other recent protests. Agitators will come to the party wherever it may be.

Sorry, carry on

Just talked to my dad, he said Jacobs was a steak house and Tobys was a bar, underground gambling shady place that stayed open 24/7

His memory isn’t that great but he remembers that from ‘65-‘70 it was the place to be.

Said there were bars on all corners and was a happening place until the late 60’s when the whores started moving in with the pimps

Pretty sure O’Reillys current location at four corners is where Tobys was located. My first cousin's wedding reception was held there in the mid to late 70’s. All of my recollections of that area of four corners are of it being on the decline...I’m 52 for reference. I can still picture the hideous ‘suit’ I was forced to wear as an 8 to 10 year old. Wish my mom was still alive so I could ask about those days.

Wait are there people on social media trying to get this going? If it follows the BLM trend in other cities then Northside is about to get a nice cleanup. The rioters wouldn’t get past Pinhook though.

They used to say on highway 90 between Rayne and Lafayette, you’d drink exactly 1 case of beer if you stopped at every bar and had 1 beer.

Pretty sure Boo Boo's was on the Breaux Bridge Hwy. But of course my memories of it are foggy at best... Had a lot of fun there back in the day, before it [was] burned down.
