Just to bring everyone back to reality in the US these are the type of police report summaries we get on my side of the world.

quote:

A 21-year-old boy, caught dismantling a parked motorbike, was lynched by commercial motorbike riders at the New-Deido neighbourhood in Douala. He was first noticed by a bike rider who immediately alerted his colleagues. The remains were deposited in a local mortuary.

quote:

02 suspected armed robbers were arrested and lynched by local residents near the MRS Filling Station at the Kotto neighbourhood, in Douala. The alleged hoodlums were burgling a residence when neighbours, alerted by distress cries emanating from the residence, came out and managed to lay hands on the 02 armed suspects. In another murder incident, a man was stabbed and killed by the wife with a pair of scissors following a matrimonial dispute at the Deido neighbourhood, in Douala. According to neighbours, the couple was constantly quarrelling since several months.

quote:

A man, aged 34, was slain by his 25-year-old brother following a heated argument that led to a machete fight in Mondoni, in the Tiko Sub-division, South-West Region. According to an eyewitness, the 02 brothers got involved in a bitter argument over who will be in control of their family cocoa farm. As the argument grew more heated, the younger brother grabbed a machete and cut his elder into several parts.

quote:

02 women were murdered by their respective husbands over matrimonial disputes in Douala. At the Madagascar neighbourhood, a man became angry after his wife refused to give him the money she had been saving in the bank. A quarrel erupted and rapidly degenerated into a physical confrontation. In the course of the tussle, the man strangled the wife. In the second incident, a man at the Mbanga-Bakoko neighbourhood hit and killed his wife with a pestle. The wife is reported to have served him rice without soup, whereas he had given her enough money for food.

quote:

A 34-year-old Chinese businessman was shot and killed by unidentified armed men at a place called “Rue de la Joie” Bali neighbourhood in Douala. The gunmen on board a motorbike first rained shots on him, but the acrobatic Chinese fought his way into a nearby Chinese restaurant where he sought for refuge. The heavily armed men forced their way into the restaurant and shot him a few more times leaving him unconscious. He later gave up the ghost. According to a security source, the gunmen also shot the night guard and went away without taking anything. The latter is currently receiving medical treatment at the Douala Laquintinie Hospital.

I blame it on the black on acrobatic Chinese violence.

Same type stuff happens over here. Here though, after a murder they usually go home to smoke weed, play xbox and knock up their ho.

To be fair, crime has never reached pre-Rita levels in Cameron.

Sounds like a sequel to Rush Hour.

Ghana and Cameroon are noticeably less shitty than the surrounding area. Accra was actually kind of nice.

There's some nice sights around Mount Cameroon and a really nice trek up to the summit of the mountain. To the south, Kribi isn't so bad.

A hidden gem in this area are the islands of Sao Tome and Principe.

No no, blacks only kill blacks in America because of white people. They are peaceful every where else.

Never been there. I've been to Nigeria, Angola, Cabinda, Malabo, Cameroon, Sao Tome, Namibia, and South Africa.

Stay away at all costs - Nigeria, Angola, Cabinda
Not terrible - Cameroon, Malabo, South Africa
Would voluntarily live - Namibia, Sao Tome

Yes, but never to Africa. I've been mostly to Western Europe, Turkey, and Mexico.
