give me scenarios how she, 80 other people, the patients in the waiting room, ER Driver, etc and Mr Duncan could have exchanged bodily fluids....

Well then I guess I'll blame the CDC for these allergies I'm dealing with right now as well. frick 'em.
right. the CDC neglecting to SHOW UP IN PERSON at the location of the first ebola diagnosis in the US is = to you getting allergies.
tell me more.

While not an "airborne" transmitted virus, it is "droplet-borne". it means that the disease-causing germs are so small they can live dry, floating in the air for extended periods, thus capable of traveling from person to person at a distance. When inhaled, airborne germs make their way deep into the lungs.
If she sneezed or coughed on that flight, then she transmitted the disease. Period.

They also knew about the arrival days in advance. That gave them time to prepare.
They are also 2 of 4 centers in the US equipped to deal with this. Designated specialized centers for infectious disease. They have the proper equipment to best contain this. I bet these nurses initially did not have anything close to Emory University level PPE

no no friend.
lnchbox says the CDC is not to blame here.
i'm sure they were busy polishing up the bureaucratic wording on the 50th update to the document they planned to send out describing the correct details for ebola handling.
i mean they cant be expected to react that fast right?
