What is the law with those U-turns...do you have to wait for green or can you go after coming to a stop on red? I know some U-turns you do not need to wait for a green light but I don't know how that applies to the 190 ones

You can legally turn left on red at the U turns.
State Police says it's ok.

Two companies worth over a billion each, plus Hornbeck and LOOP on Northpark blvd and the city is going to make it a parking lot at 5pm when there workers are trying to get home.

Good Job Mike Cooper, way to encourage them to want to stay here!!

You do know you are leaving out the largest/biggest $ company in the Northpark area right? And no, I'm not talking about Chevron

My Bad, I forget Fedex

Chevron
Pool Corp
Fedex
Hornbeck
LOOP.

All on one street and now the parish or city (don't care who) made it 10X harder for their employees to leave at the end of the day.

I always assume it’s ok unless there’s a sign that says it’s not.

I've heard strange things about that place. Don't know if they still do this, but supposedly they used to have this weird Friday afternoon ritual. The general manager would play that "In The Jungle, The Mighty Jungle" song on the PA and everyone just sort of had to walk around and mingle and make chit-chat for about 30 minutes.

Fedex isn’t bigger than Chevron either in Northpark or the company as a whole. Chevron has a crap ton of ppl in that office.

The construction isn’t even close to completion yet. Save your bitching until it is finished to pass full judgement.

But this is only phase one bc it’s all moot until they build a 4 lane Claiborne bridge.
