Back in the 70s I saw the first HOnda cars in the Monroe, La area.
They were at Howard Griffen inside the store along with boats, lawn mowers and ATV's.
They were strange looking but interesting.
I was in 5 or 6 th grade at the time.
For the longest time Car Town had one of their early Hondas on top of the sign.

The more time that passes, the more prophetic that movie becomes.

Celsius
Years ago I would only see them being sold in gyms or supplement stores.
Now they are sold in just about every gas station convenience store. They pioneered the “healthy” energy drink marketing strategy which really connected to women much more than legacy brands like Red Bull and Monster.

How are companies like Vuori doing?
Does using people like Livvy help them sell a lot of clothing?

Every time Biden appointed some weirdo the scene of all of Camacho's cabinet members would run through my head.
Who are you?
I'm the secretary of energy
eh, he won a contest and got to be a cabinet member

quote:That job shouldn't even exist. Gas prices experienced a temporary increase in the 1970s, and America said "do something" so either Ford or Carter created an entire new cabinet department. Typical knee-jerk government bullshite. What we need is a Department of Shutting the frick Up and Building Oil Wells and Power Plants.

Men are too stupid to realize that we get convinced by marketing the same way Taylor Swift lives in the head of chicks. SaltLife, the wildly overpriced Yeti fad, watch brands etc.
Speak for yourself. I am not half that stupid. You gotta be one dumb son of a gun to buy Under Armor or Nike because some ball player is paid to wear it.

I think that describes the politicians in California as well as the two "leaders" of the LAFD.

Persil Detergent. Suddenly there were commercials for it and it was occupying prime shelf space.
I looked it up, and wiki says it’s been around since 1907 in Germany and entered the US market in 2016.

Cingular was just the combination of SBC and Bellsouth which were both divisions of Att. They changed the name from cingular to att wireless.

How about the plant baws that wear FR non uniform clothing outside of work? You know, it comes in "casual wear" for those dangerous flames around a BBQ or a crawfish boil? What a bunch of pretentious losers.
