My ten month old's newest skill is she understands "bye bye" and how to wave to people.

I'm gonna blink and she'll be a teenager

My pre-k daughter is reading at a 3rd grade level. maybe 4th. she was student of the month last month.

We will be having her tested at the only 5 star school in the Lake area. School counselor where she's at now said she shouldn't have a problem getting in. >knockonwood <

My 20 y/o son has a 4.0 at LSU in his Jr Year.

Works part-time during school and full-time in summer, in his chosen field of study, and has a promised job when he graduates. Salary will be larger than what I could have ever imagined at his age.

Self-sufficient, pays own bills, respectful, and was a great athlete in HS.

Daughter has a 4.0 in 8th grade and is an amazing dancer and young lady. She also could be a top-notch ball player but chooses not to play tournament circuit.

Kids sports at that age is some of the best entertainment you'll ever have as a parent.

Watching that age group play soccer is like watching a bunch of midgets on acid

Yeah, but your kids will never even think about getting into trouble - I mean - why risk it - mom's going to find out all the details in very short order.

You're going to ruin your laptop doing that.

Isn't pretty much every 9 and 10 year old a 4.0 student?

My 9 month old can pull himself up and does so constantly. We caught him sleeping while standing and leaning against the rail in his crib the other night. Relentless little bugger. He's getting good at walking with his little push cart toy thing.

He can also hurl his plastic balls about 15 feet with both arms.

Both of mine graduated high school last year, one is a bio-chem premed major, the other is driving a train at a plant. Both were real good athletes, one quit playing after Soph. yr to concentrate on grades and getting into the school of her choice, the other quit his best sport and played just varsity soccer all 4 years.

Each of their Labs are smart SOB's too.
