I disagree. His affair from 8 yrs ago is no longer a story. There is nothing to be gained with those questions now.

I don't everybody is ignoring anything. I just don't think that many people really give a frick.

I have no doubt Vitter played that card. A friend of mine pulled him over after Katrina and he acted like the BIGGEST DICK with the whole "do you know who I am" thing. My friend still gave this dickbag a ticket but 5 minutes later he got a phone call from the sheriff telling him to throw the ticket away.

reveals that he's a POS (which can be gathered by his political views alone but it only adds evidence)

Vitter should fill in all the holes and satisfy any unanswered questions.

That being said, anyone that asks him about it in front of his wife should be beat like a chaste girl at a KA party.

No. I'm not...but I can still believe the line of questioning was not appropriate for his duties. I'm tired of reporters thinking they can hop back and forth across the line between opinion/investigative and reporting as they see fit.

Same happened with Trump/Ramos.

He's been a pretty damn good senator for this state for a very long time.

I think it's totally legit for a US Senator to play the "Do you know who I am?" card....especially with some deputy on street patrol.

I know I would

On the OT, you only ask questions relating to politics for the right wing candidates. You save the riff raffy TMZ crap questions for Hilary Clinton and Mitch Landrieu.

I don't really care if he is a POS because I don't think that necessarily affects his ability to do his job.
