I knew TL a little but used to run around with BL some in HS. I think I'm a year older than him IIRC.

I had a lot of friends from Redemptorist. A lot of Central area people went to school there back in those days.

Gotcha. I know your crowd then. It wasn't really my crowd but there was a lot of mixing between the two.

I miss those nights of hanging out with TL, BL, and JT.

I would never post it here, but I have a picture that I keep in my phone from back then with the 4 of us and others. It was taken at that bar Mike’s that was off of Sherwood by that daiquiri shop.

Mikes Bar and Grill will forever be my favorite bar in Baton Rouge. I loved that place and would spend almost every Friday night there. $5 pitchers.

Those were the nights....

Ahhh, I remember hearing the commercials and promos on the radio but I was still in the teen club years. I was at Weekends while you were at T-Traxx

I'm sorry you have nothing to lose, I on the other hand have everything, to me, to lose.

I will warn you and try my best to avoid a fight, including let you know I will put you down. If you still want to be a dumbass I will oblige you.

It’s still not making any sense why the deceased would be on Nebraska St. That’s in an extremely dangerous part of “The Bottom” and the kid went to Catholic allegedly. Does Splash even allow people under 21 nowadays?

I have no idea. I just can't think of anything else around there that would be open at 1am. I guess I could see some white kid driving down Highland at that time but not Nebraska unless looking for drugs. It's very odd.

Maybe some shite started up the road at one of those “luxury” apartments and a groups of them jumped in vehicles and ended there. If he was breaking up a fight, who were the fighters? Did the attacker and victim know each other?

Leaving Splash as we suspected.

WAFB

quote:

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A young man has died after he was sent to the hospital in critical condition while trying to break up a fight and now a second suspect has been arrested in connection to his death.

According to an arrest warrant, Jayce Lambert is facing second-degree murder charges in connection to the May 8 incident.

Police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Nebraska Street in reference to an unresponsive white male in a parking lot near a nightclub.

Officers learned the victim was hit by a white male who left the scene before police arrived.

After investigating, police learned that patrons were leaving the club and walking to their car when a white male, later identified as Jayce Lambert, got into an argument with a white female in the parking lot.

They originally charged Lambert with assessory to second degree murder this morning. Both of the accused are fricked. All over nothing, and could’ve been 100% avoided.
