My wife just spoke to an officer and apparently these victims were shot while sleeping

Did she talk to the officer who said this on the news?

Could it be another homeless dude doing the offing? Like a territory thing?

Maybe they could mark them with red paint, like Trees in a forest that need to be cut down.

What do the red ribbons mean?

See Season 5 of Wire. It's his "calling card".

Are these dead homeless in BR wrapped in red ribbons or something?

Although the image of forcibly harnessing them to rickshaws is kind of funny.

While funny and useful, the problem is they just end up stealing your rick.

The dude is working on technique. You think he won't move on to bigger and better targets?

no we don’t watch the news. It was an officer at Calandros

Here’s the murder house. Guy was shot on porch, bloody stuff still there.

So the real homeless... not the 20-30 year old fakers who do shifts at the intersections

What is it about this fricking shithole that forces dicks around here to become serial killers? How many has Baton Rouge has in the last 30 years - 4?

We had 3 in the Garden district alone in the '90's early '00's. I represented one of them. (on appointment...) He didn't kill all of them. Derrick Todd Lee was responsible for some and the gay serial killer for most of the rest.

Good of him to not just walk in on you unannounced. That would have been creepy.

Yep. Bonnie Jackson at least gives you a heads-up. Not the choice to refuse, but at least advance notice...

Edit: And he's been daid for 15+ years for those wondering about privilege...

So they should go to their house?
Call me crazy but I don’t think homeless people want to live outside.

What he’s trying to say is - don’t make yourself an easy target. It’s probably a futile message to send, but he’s not supposed to think that way.

I deal with homeless vets every day. They absolutely do NOT want to be confined. It is an absolute crazy dichotomy but most of them prefer to be flying by the seat of their pants. Outside. Get their $8 to get in a shelter, eat and bathe every few days. That's all they want.
