I mean, isn't "ripping another man's scrotum open with your bare hands" a very Florida thing to do?
Also, the Florida parishes are the parishes North of Pontchartrain and East of the Mississippi that were not included in the Louisiana Purchase (because they weren't part of French-owned Louisiana, they were part of West Florida), so yep, EBR is a Florida Parish.
