Wouldn’t it be dangerous to continue operations without maintenance contractors?

They have company guys in these roles. They will probably just focus on essential maintenance and put projects on hold

This makes no sense. Short of shutting the plant down, this does nothing to reduce exposure and will cripple contractors if all plants start following suit.

Does if you you keep contractors off of your site who can't blame you for the infection and subsequent liability.

Unfortunately, it wouldn’t surprise me at all if everyone starts deferring projects and focusing on essential maintenance. It would completely frick the state’s economy but, you know, “abundance of caution.”

Westlake is doing the same. 20/20 was going to be a bumpy ride but we just turned off the highway and hit the cane field roads

So it’s basically gonna be like the holidays for operations. Keep the plant running, make good product, watch lots of movies and get sleep.

Like nights and weekends 24/7

Make product, cook, eat

I’m in ops sleeping, tv/movies don’t happen here. If you’re dozing off you better go make some coffee

what makes them different from the guys that actually have worked on something the last 5 years other than in the kitchen?
