More parents should do this.. Put their kids in some type of lessons that will teach them to defend themselves... That and to establish self confidence.

Her mother and I actually met at a real kickboxing gym. I fell in love with her mother when she kicked me in the side of the head sparring, and thought my ear was bleeding. She comes from good stock, and is already into Muey Thia, Krav Maga, and grappling. Bless her heart. She is the sweetest thing, but will be a killer. Love my girl!!!!!

It was a reward, because actually enforcing discipline is frowned upon.
Last year was my first year teaching, and I loved it (was at a different school) however at the end of the year we were told that we could not fail any kid (not sure if this was just in terrebonne parish, or goes on other places)...I had two students that refused to take a test all year, when I would pass a test out they would sign their name and turn it in...I had to pass both of them.

That is ridiculous.
How about instead, you make them take that whole year again and charge the parents the amount it takes to send them through school because they already used their allotment.

Its a sad state we live in when kids afraid of taking an arse whipping.m a gun is one thing. Ain't no one go bully me around and not thumped. God I love my dad. My dad told me one day they can fight you or I can fight you, your choice lol.

I'm 55. When I was about 7, there was this big fricker who used to thump the back of my head. When the seniors got their rings, he used his ring.
I told my Mom, who told me to hit him back. I told her he was bigger then I was. She asked if he was bigger than she was, and I said, Mom, he's bigger than Dad.
My Dad was 5'11", 170ish, and Ring Boy was easily 6'2", 240.
So Mom tells Dad, who follows the bus to this guy's house the next morning. When he gets on, my Dad is right behind him, tells the driver that he needs to talk to one of his passengers, and proceeds to tell Ring Boy that if he uses his ring again, he's going to get his arse beat by a grown man, and asks if he understands the situation.
Only sound on the bus was that big fricker "Yessir"-ing his arse off.

My 3 little ones all started at 5 and are in a great self defence school.
They are taught to:

2) control / contain conflict
and if you just can't stop the conflict with 1 or 2 ---- then:
3) destroy / break

It has everything to do with it when responsible parents try and teach their kids to play by the rules. When said rules have a negative effect on our kids then frick the pc bullshite.
