American federal government is shut down because American congress won't fund the wall.
Trump promised Mexico would pay for the wall.
800,000 federal employees will not be paid 12/28 because Trump won't sign a bill without wall funding.
Border patrol agents, protecting the border that Trump is so worried about, are not getting paid while the government is shut down.

None of it is false.
But how effective do you think you would be at your job with Congress fighting you every step of the way, a special council investigating you for “collusion” with zero evidence, and a media that is dishonest and relentless in attacking at a level we have not witnessed before.
And you want to complain that Mexico isn’t paying for it? It needs to be built regardless of who is paying for it. That’s a terrible argument against the wall. Try harder

Call it what you want, but that's the reality.
I know it's not what people want to hear or believe, but they come to the US to work these jobs because they are able to make more money than they would be able to make in Mexico (that doesn't involve working for a cartel).
The majority of people want to come here for opportunity. Immigrants make up about 17% of the US labor force (plus the jobs illegals do).
You remove that 17% from the work force and it is spread pretty thin. In fact it will hurt our economy. I don't know what they report on CNN or Fox about this, but evidently they don't report realistic shite.

Same with government spending. Everyone wants it cut until it’s the plant they work for that loses the government contract. Huntsville, AL is my favorite example of small government conservatives. If Redstone Arsenal closed that city would be a ghost town.

I have trouble believing that republicans who want a wall on the border express that desire by giving millions of dollars to a random private citizen. This guy is getting personally wealthy. All he has to do is donate a lot to the federal government. But he will get to keep millions as a fee to manage the money. Wild.
